Lewisham
A compact and efficient outbuilding designed to support flexible use while maximising storage in a limited footprint. Located within a residential garden, the structure accommodates daily utility and long-term organisation through the integration of a sunken storage zone beneath the main floor level.

This lowered storage area is seamlessly built into the design, offering an easily accessible yet discreet space for bulky or seasonal items — such as tools, garden equipment, or archive materials — without encroaching on the usable interior footprint above.

The architecture of the outbuilding is clean and modern, with a focus on practicality and simplicity, making it suitable for use as a garden studio, hobby room, or utility annex. Thoughtful detailing, durable materials, and natural light ensure that the space remains bright, functional, and connected to the garden context.

This project showcases how intelligent planning and subtle design gestures can bring hidden value to even the most modest structures — turning overlooked corners into efficient, adaptable, and visually integrated additions to the home.
